Earth must prepare for close encounter with Aliens, says scientists

Recent headlines from different web sites and newspapers stated that


100 tons of dead sardines were found in Brazil over the weekend.

500 small birds dropped to their deaths in Baton Rouge.

3,000 red-winged blackbirds died in Arkansas

and many more, there is even a map for it

now this news item from the Guardian themselves saying that Earth must prepare for close encounter with Aliens.

They go on to say:

World governments should prepare a coordinated action plan in case Earth is contacted by aliens, according to scientists.


They argue that a branch of the UN must be given responsibility for "supra-Earth affairs" and formulate a plan for how to deal with extraterrestrials, should they appear.

Faith of the Heart

I have been watching a lot of Star Trek:Enterprise recently. What can I say, I love sci-fi.

The Enterprise series is set before Star Trek, just like The Next Generation is set way after the original Star Trek. Usually I fast forward over the title, intros and opening theme song but with Enterprise I watch it every time. The theme song Faith of the Heart sung by Russell Watson (no, it is not by Rod Stewart as a lot of people believed) is amazing. The clip is also excellent showing the beginnings of man's yearning to explore with a Kon Tiki like boat all the way to space exploration.

Farscape

My name is John Crichton, an astronaut. A radiation wave hit and I got shot through a wormhole. Lost in some distant part of the universe on a ship, a living ship, full of strange alien life forms. This is the prologue for the Sci Fi television series Farscape. I just finished watching four seasons of Farscape. I was watching the show non stop for the last 2 weeks. It is indescribable, a frantic insane space adventure, with weird strange wonderful alien characters jumping through space wormholes, and a struggle to save the galaxies and all the species.

Here is a little clip that I put together after I borrowed a big part of it from farscape fantasy and some more here. I did not think the background music worked, so instead I replaced it with David Coverdale's Days of Thunder. I hope you like it.

Coneheads in Kuwait

A very strange phenomenona is happening in Kuwait.

These extraterrestrials both had that strange elongated head.

Well I have been seeing elongated heads more and more, exclusively on veiled girls. Is it an alien invasion? Is it the chicken flu that is spreading around? I could not ask the girls, so I did the next best thing. I went to the Indian guy selling veils, and I asked to see a veil with a bump in the back to have that alien look. He explained to me that all the veils are regular veils but you can buy a huge flower hairpin and create that conehead effect. Something like this but with a much bigger flower.





Mystery solved, for all those that where wondering.
