i am emarati and from dubai, i just came back from Kuwait 2 days ago...
honestly speaking, although Dubai airport looks much nicer than KW, however it was really nice to get off the plane walk for a couple of mins to the counter and get my bags and leave the airport while waiting for a ride in less than half an hour
This indeed sums it up :D The airport is renovated now (in Kuwait), but it still is strange. As soon as you've checked in, you can't even buy a newspaper any more. Not enough seats either.
Hi I'm from Kuwait I just wanted to say that Dubai's airport is so much better than Kuwait's airport but that picture shows you what will happen if you keep your car for more than one week in the normal parking lot, because there is a special parking for that.
im from kuwait and i love it that pic is probaly after a sand storm dubai is one of a kind so ofcourse itl be better and in kuwait u can get some one to pick u up faster than dubai (btw the car says: plz have mersey)
Although Dubai is more developed, i have to say it is hell on earth if you wanna go somewhere in the Primetime with a car..... Congested, Congested and keeps congesting.... Kuwait has more relaxed tarffic, but the indians and Egyptians ruin it with their horrible driving skills. I am from Bulgaria and i live in Kuwait from 4 years and i like it more than Dubai, because the hassle is not as much.
You're so unfair!!! There is no link between the two photos. Kuwait has the airport it needs. I transited Dubai and services on Kuwait are much better - you can even be smiled at, unlike Dubai. Most foreigners nag a lot about Kuwait - totally unnecessarily. I've spent many wonderful years in Kuwait and I miss it a lot.
I live in france and i have been in both countries enough time. What i can say is that i really love kuwait... Kuwait managed to impose its laws and attitude to everyone working or just visiting...i feel that it has more of a soul than Dubai. Dubai is nice for tourists looking for fun but i find Kuwait more recomforting. I really loved it and would go back any given time. PS about the q8 airport i love the starbucks there...one of my favorites world wide...and yes the pic is not relevant for a comparison. Cinzia
Does a car not washed is the compare between countries. Kuwait helped most of Gulf countries in the olden days and the investments of Kuwaites is noticeable in Dubai. Dubai has the vision to be one of the tours destination in the world. Widen your minds please.
the car is not an airport so why comparing FYI: kuwait is the best ;p am kuwaiti and i have the ri8 to say this but i hope someday that kuwait rise up again like before

I can show you more dirty places than that car in Dubai, It dose not mean that dubai will be more dirty place.
Both Cities are nice.
Dubai's airport the best, but only to collect booze.. Kuwait is much more better..
