Ever wondered what is inside that can of blue of and silver called Red Bull and does it really "give you wings" ?
I know it has plenty of caffeine and that should be enough to make anyone climb walls and kick start your day, but what other active potent mixes does it have.
Well Red Bull has bull bile. Yes, Bull Bile, or as is labelled on the can Taurin. Among the effects of Taurin is that it reduces blood pressure and reduces muscles fatigue. Studies on mice showed that obese mice do not gain weight when given Taurin. Taurin is also being tested as a treatment for anti-manic depression for bipolar disorder.
Redbull has some Glucuronolactone. Glucuronolactone has been shown to improve memory retention and concentration as well as acting as an antidepressant and stimulant.
Last but not least, Red Bull has Inositol. Inositol is a carbohydrate found in animal muscle. Inositol is deficient in depressed people meaning lack of it causes increased depression. It is used in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder. Experiments and animal studies show that it is can be used against some kinds of cancers.
Translating all of the above, Red Bull is full of goodness and can really give you wings. Now where did I put my can of Red Bull.
bull bile? umm ya3! u'd think being disgusted by that should make me stop but noooo!!
ReplyDeletetoo bad it tastes like medicine
ReplyDeleteprincess: bull bile is much better than other bull stuff they could put in it ;-)
ReplyDeleteeshda3wa: it might taste like medicine but it works for me.
Red bull is full of chemicals and sugar (or aspartam for the diet version, which is even worse than sugar!)... if u wanna stay awake and not be under the influence of caffeine or other addictive stuff, have Guarana, it's something from Brazil that allows u to stay awake for a long time without any side effect! It also has lots of other positive effects on ur health :-)
ReplyDeletegood stuff!!!
Taurin huh, lmao no wonder its called red bull..
ReplyDeletebtw,
taurin sounds a lot like toro (bull in spanish)
