Here is an article about a woman who got shot in the head but did not die. In fact, after getting a bullet in the head, she walked to the hospital to get the bullet removed.

Zain: It wasn't a shot gun, it was a handgun. Also, it hit the side of her head, not her forehead, and finally, just like the Brazilian lady in the article it just wasn't her time.
