The neighbour cleans his rug and puts it over your shared wall.
Is this:
- Totally unacceptable; call the cops and make a big stink!
- Bad manners; call the houseboy, shout at him and have him remove the rug immediately.
- OK; its only this one time.
- Cool; I'm sure he would be happy if you cleaned your rug on his wall.
- Pretend you did not see it.
What do you think?
Well i just found your blog by chance but i liked it so im gonna leave a comment! :-) as i always seek for the positive in everything (at least i start with the positive but it doesn't always work...), i would choose answer 4. Let's see if the neighbour would accept what he does to others!
ReplyDeleteI would politely talk to the neighbor about the fact that it's a shared wall and how hanging his rug out to dry there isn't a nice thing to do.
ReplyDeleteIf that doesn't work, have a couple of "friends" go over and give him a little "talk", you know what I'm sayin'? :)
None of the above. I would smear some jam on it just for laughs. Use Blue Berry to make sure it is permanent.

OK; its only this one time.
ReplyDeleteMore than twice done their teaboy should be called and asked to remove it - no shouting necessary.
3. I can't imagine that it happens often, and in the heat of Kuwait, it can't take that long to dry. not such a big deal in my book. But how do YOU feel about it?

anon: thanks anon, come back for more fun posts.
ReplyDeletestinni: make them an offer they can't refuse ?
man: I'd rather have the jam on my pancakes, no need to waste good food.
1001: it happens at least once a month.
intlxpatr: It all depends on the weather, when I snapped that picture it was hot and dusty, I could not be bothered to ring their door, and wait for someone to answer. If it was nice weather and I was outside and someone from the neghbours was also outside with the incriminating rug on the wall, I'd tell them to hang it in their own place.
esda3wa: live and let live, I like that.
.. Well, I wouldn't like that to happen to me, but I would look at the bright side .. Pretend that you didn't see it/ care about it. It's not a bid deal and you can set a good example for your kids. In addition , the proverb says' El-Jaar before El-Daar'
ReplyDeleteOoops... maybe a strong wind blew it onto the street...
