Coffee Drinks explained

Lokesh Dhakar on his blog was confused by the different coffee drinks combinations offered at the different coffee places like Starbucks. He did a little research and came up with this excellent illustration that describes all the popular coffee drinks.

This list does not include my drink, which would be a quadruple shot of espresso.

  1. 4 shots? How do you function?? One shot at Starbucks gives me a twitch in my eye. I can't imagine what four shots would do!

  2. ta3qeed zayed. So a cappuccino and a cafe latte are exactly the same just the amount of steamed milk required a new name? No wonder ma afham bil coffees :/

  3. I love this!!! I used to work in a bookstore that had a Starbucks cafe, and 90% of people didn't know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino. Plus, they'd accuse US of not knowing the difference - "Where's all my milk? This is all foam?"

    Argh.

  4. I have another problem here in Dubai - nobody has a remote idea what "flat white" is. They insist I get a latte! And when I say I don't like latte because it's all milk, they say get cappuccino as it's stronger. I say I don't like loads of foam - and I get blank stares.
