Romeo and Juliet and Mobile SMS

Remember the balcony scene of Romeo and Juliet, where Juliet laments about Romeo's family when she says:

O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo
Deny thy father and refuse thy name;
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I'll no longer be a Capulet.

Well, what if they had a mobile, and where sending SMSs, then what you would get would be:

Romeo and Juliet

  1. LOL

    They might as well make a new version of the film with mobile phones in it. Or internet. They already broke the rule and used shotguns in the story, while shotguns were not invented back then. LOL but that'd be a real drag

  2. Heh, talk about a damper. I love "Romeo & Juliet," but I enjoyed "Hamlet" the most. Good thing I have a spacious balcony back home :P

  6. scarlo: video phones would be cool, with light sabers, Romeo and Juliet meet star wars.

    erzulie: Hamlet rocks too, personally I like Macbeth, with his evil manipulative wife, reminds me of someone, can't place a name (wink wink).

    laialy: yeah, mobiles can run out of power at the worst time.

    zinzin: erzulie answered the question, thanks erzulie.

    diigma: mobiles are controlling us.
